Professor Hussein Torabi, PhD. President
With over twenty years of commitment to excellence in teaching and administrative experiences in different
institutions of higher education, Professor Torabi has assigned to the following positions:
- Professor of
“SQM” at the George Washington University.
- Associate Professor of Marketing in Business Administration
Institute.
- Visiting Professor at Georgetown University.
- Associate Professor of Statistics and
Research Methodology at Tehran University.
Throughout the years, Prof. Torabi served as a research advisor to more than 200 doctoral candidates from
different disciplines in designing research methodology and data collection procedures for their
dissertations with a variety of topics in areas of business administration, economics, marketing, and
behavioral studies.
Prof. Torabi has been awarded the:
- Fulbright Scholarship (Champaign, Urbana: University, IL.).
- Honorary Faculty Member (DC: Georgetown University).
- Dean’s List (George Washington University)
- Dean’s List (Tehran University)
- Author and Co author of many Curriculum and Books.
Dr. Ibrahim Halawi, DBA, CCIM, VP, Head of the International Real Estate Dept.
Education:
Graduated from the CCIM Institute in Chicago, (known as the highest level of Real estate Education and the
Professional PhD in Real Estate).
Received his Doctorate degree from SMUP, 2002, Santa Mona University w /Excellency.
Received his Graduate Degree from "USC" University of Southern California (fps)
In Management & urban planning (ETM) 1997, with Excellency & Highest Honor.
Received his B.Arch. in 1985 From Beirut , Lebanon.
Professional Experience:
Dr. Halawi has more than twenty years of Professional Experience in the Real Estate Development and
Investment, Locally in USA and Internationally in the Middle East and Europe.
He has published numerous studies and articles in professional magazine on Real Estate subjects that includes
Housing and Real Estate Investment and Development.

Ray Venero, IREM, CPM®, Property Management Senior Instructor
Education:
Mr. Venero earned his BA in Economics and Urban Studies (double major) from Rutgers University and an MA in
HRM from Marymount UN. Where he also earned a Graduate Certificate. He is currently pursing a Doctorate in
Business Administration. He is a graduate of the Leadership Development Program of the Center for Creative
Leadership
Experience:
Ramón J (Ray) Venero, CPM® is the Director of (SHRM), the world’s largest professional membership
organization.
Mr. Venero has been involved in the commercial real estate investment and management business since 1978. He
has held leadership positions with national real estate syndicates, regional real estate development and
management companies and, for a time, operated his own property management company as part of
developer/builder group. He has managed varied portfolios of multi-family, commercial, retail, industrial,
HOA, and resort properties.
Professional Achievement:
Active with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) since 1982, Ray received his CPM® designation in
1991. A member of the national faculty since 1999, Internationally, Ray has traveled twice to Brazil to
facilitate IREM courses in Portuguese hosted by SECOVI-SP, IREM’s Brazilian partner.
David Johnson, SRPA, MAI, Real Estate Senior Instructor, Senior Appraiser
Instructor
Education:
Mr. Johnson graduated from California State University at Los Angeles where he received his BA and his
teaching credential in 1972
Mr. Johnson received his SRPA designation in 1990 and he received his MAI designation in 1992.
Since 1983 Mr. Johnson has appraised many types of real estate with an emphasis on land, apartment complexes,
industrial properties and commercial properties.
Mr. Johnson has been an instructor in the Business & Management Division of the University of California Los
Angeles “UCLA” since 1988.
Also he received a California State Teaching Credential and a National USPAP Instructor as well.
